Otology & Neurotology publishes original articles relating to both clinical and basic science aspects of otology, neurotology, and cranial base surgery. As the foremost journal in its field, it has become the favored place for publishing the best of new science relating to the human ear and its diseases. Otology & Neurotology Cochrane Scholarships

Congratulations to our 2024 Cochrane scholars!

The journal Otology & Neurotology selected two recipients for the 2024 cycle of Cochrane scholarships. Funds ($4000 per scholarship) will be provided to attend one or more Cochrane course in the US or Europe.  Following completion of the course(s), the scholar will be expected to submit a high-quality systematic review or meta-analysis (topic of the scholar’s choice) for publication in O&N.  After publication of the review, scholars will then be invited to join the Editorial Board of O&N to assist with editorial review of similar types of manuscripts submitted for publication. 

The application consists of a typed, single page (no smaller than 12-point font) description of previous experience with systematic reviews/evidence-based medicine and how this scholarship would contribute to the career goals of the applicant.  The ideal candidate is a junior faculty member, though mid-career faculty and fellows will also be considered.
