Herbert Silverstein Award for Research Excellence in Otology/Neurotology

Submission Information
- The Herbert Silverstein Award for Research Excellence in Otology/Neurotology, will be awarded annually to a trainee (Otolaryngology resident/Neurotology fellow) or early career clinician (1st five years of practice) for the best research manuscript submission for presentation at the annual ANS Scientific Meeting.
- The topic should be focused on Meniere’s disease, vestibular diseases, cochlear implants, vestibular schwannomas or otosclerosis.
- The ANS Executive Council shall judge the yearly applications. A yearly award of $1,500 will be given for the selected manuscript.
- The author will be expected to attend the Annual ANS Spring Meeting and present the paper in person.
- The abstract must be selected for ORAL presentation to be considered.
- Send a brief cover letter and a pdf of your manuscript to: Kristen Bordignon, ANS Administrator, [email protected] by November 30, 2024 to accompany the abstract. (preliminary draft of manuscript acceptable)
- The final manuscript must be submitted electronically in the publication format recommended by Otology & Neurotology, the official journal of the ANS, 4 weeks before meeting.
- The Abstract Submission deadline for the ANS 60th Annual Spring Meeting in New Orleans, LA on May 16-17, 2025 is 11:59 PM (P.T.) October 15, 2024.
