Thank you for submitting your panel proposals for the 58th Annual Fall meeting, “Super Saturday” in Nashville on September 30th! We have lots of interesting, quality panels to choose from!
We are pleased to announce there will be four study groups on “Super Saturday” in Nashville on September 30, 2023.
UPDATE: The submission deadline for all study group abstracts has been extended to TUESDAY, JUNE 20!
VESTIBULAR STUDY GROUP The Vestibular Study Group is a forum for discussion of the latest topics and challenging cases of vertigo and balance disorders that present to the neurotologist. Authors should aim their presentations for the most broad appeal and general application to vertigo and balance disorders in neurotology. Submissions will then be evaluated to determine if an organizing theme can be identified for this year’s study group. We invite 5-minute presentations of challenging cases as well as clinical/translational studies. The study group format will be abstract presentations followed by panel discussion. Please submit all abstracts to Dr. John Carey at [email protected] and Dr. Gerard Gianoli at [email protected] by June 20, 2023. 14th ANNUAL FACIAL NERVE STUDY GROUP Abstracts will be accepted for 5-minute Facial Nerve study group case presentations followed by discussion between May 15 and June 12, 2023. The abbreviated abstracts should include a title AND clinical presentation only. The format is an "unknown" or "complicated" case presentation. Please submit all abstracts to Dr. John Leonetti, [email protected] and Dr. Mia Miller, [email protected] by Tuesday, June 20th. SKULL BASE TUMOR STUDY GROUP Based on valued member feedback, we will further broaden the scope of this study group to encompass the full breadth of lateral skull base tumors, including vestibular schwannomas, meningiomas, paragangliomas, and other more rare neoplasms involving the temporal bone and lateral skull base. We are seeking submissions for the 2023 program which may be more in-depth studies or case presentations. An emphasis on submissions related to innovative treatments is encouraged. Members are also welcome to submit difficult cases with management dilemmas for group feedback. Abstracts will be accepted between May 20th and June 20, 2023. Please do not forget to include an abstract title, authors’ full names with titles, author affiliations, and presenting author’s email. Please limit abstract submissions to 250 words or less; abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft WORD format. WILLIAM HOUSE STUDY GROUP Please plan to attend the 39th gathering of the WHSG as a part of the “Super Saturday” events during the ANS 58th Annual Fall meeting in Nashville, TN on September 30, 2023. The WHSG discussion will include all implantable auditory devices, including cochlear and bone anchored implants. Difficult/interesting/unusual cases that illustrate novel concepts or management dilemmas related to implantable devices are encouraged.
